Where and Why?
Work to carry out essential cyclic maintenance works to the A55, A494 and A483 dual carriageways.
Works will include grass cutting / weed treatment / litter collection / drainage cleansing / sweeping / structural maintenance and inspections / highway and vehicle restraint systems inspections.
Routine maintenance and inspection work on highway infrastructure is vital for the safety of road users and includes a wide range of activities such as, for example, gully emptying and their inspection to identify significant defects, which reduces the risk of flooding on our motorways and trunk roads.
