Where and Why?
Work to carry out essential cyclic maintenance works to the A55, A494 and A483 dual carriageways.
Works will include grass cutting / weed treatment / litter collection / drainage cleansing / sweeping / structural maintenance and inspections / highway and vehicle restraint systems inspections.
Routine maintenance and inspection work on highway infrastructure is vital for the safety of road users and includes a wide range of activities such as, for example, gully emptying and their inspection to identify significant defects, which reduces the risk of flooding on our motorways and trunk roads.
Diversions and Safety Measures
The work will be carried out between 6th April and 27th July with works currently programmed from 19:30 nightly and will include main carriageway lane closures and full slip road closures.
