Where and Why?

Work to carry out essential carriageway patching works on the A55 eastbound carriageway between J18 Llandudno Jct. and J20 Brompton Avenue will commence on the 07/01/2021 for 4 nights

Diversions and Safety Measures

The work will be carried out over the 4 nights 20:30 – 06:00 under full eastbound carriageway closures between J18 Llandudno Jct. and J20 Brompton Avenue.

The works are being carried out overnight in January when traffic flows are historically lower to minimise disruption.

Full closure of J18 Llandudno Jct. on slip eastbound

Full closure of J19 Glan Conwy off slip eastbound

Traffic to be diverted off the A55 EB carriageway at J18 Llandudno Jct. off slip EB, and diverted along Ffordd 6G and the A547 through Llandudno Jct. before re-joining the A55 EB carriageway at J19 Glan Cowny on slip EB.

Traffic to be diverted off the A55 EB carriageway at J19 Glan Conwy off slip EB and diverted along the A547 through Mochdre before re-joining the A55 EB carriageway at J20 Brompton Avenue on slip EB.
