A40 Pitt Village

The work will be carried out under a full road closure, over an approximate 10-week period between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 under a full road closure.

A40 Westbound Closure between Raglan Roundabout and Hardwick Roundabout - 20:00

A40 eastbound traffic at Hardwick Roundabout will be diverted south east along the main strategic diversion route, following existing symbol signage on gantries and advance direction signs, before continuing and being directed north east to re join the A40 at Raglan Roundabout, where the diversion ends.

A40 westbound traffic at Raglan Roundabout will be diverted north west along the designated diversion route, continuing before being directed south west to re join the A40 at Hardwick Roundabout, where the diversion ends and normal traffic conditions resume.

Local traffic will be diverted via the B4598 and surrounding local roads, with eastbound vehicles travelling south and then east before turning north to re join the A40 near Raglan, and westbound vehicles travelling north and then west before turning south to re join the A40 at Hardwick Roundabout.
