Essential seasonal maintenance work taking place on the A483 between the Newtown bypass and the Llaithddu junction.
Essential cyclic maintenance works are scheduled to take place between Monday September 28 and Friday October 2 2026. The works will involve grass cutting and gully emptying operations.
Closure hours will be 09:00-15:15, Monday to Friday. To ensure a safe working environment for our operatives, a full road closure will be required due to the restricted width of the carriageway.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience these works may cause. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Our contractors will make every effort to minimise disruption; however, we kindly ask that you allow additional time for your journeys.
All traffic—with the exception of Emergency Service vehicles, school buses, and service buses—will be required to follow the designated diversion route(s). Some delays may still occur while works are in progress.
