M4 Hazard Tree Clearance and Vegetation Maintenance between the Second Severn Crossing and Pont Abraham

Essential works to address hazardous trees at various locations along the M4 between J23 Rogiet and J48 Pont Abraham.

The work will be undertaken during the night between 20:00 and 06:00 utilising mostly hard shoulder and lane closures; however, some total slip road closures will be required to provide the necessary safety zones in the below locations.

M4 J35 Pencoed - J36 Sarn (07/09/26 – 20/11/26)

J35 eastbound exit slip road

M4 J43 Llandarcy 5/10/26 -13/11/26

The work will be carried out overnight using Hard shoulder and Lane 1 night time closure of the M4 east and westbound.

Diversions

Signed diversions will be established on all slip road closures.
