Work to carry out essential pavement investigations to the stretch of M4 between Junction 34 and Junction 35 in the Eastbound direction.
The work will be carried out over 6 nights (20:00 – 06:00) under phased carriageway closures on M4 Junction 34 to M4 Junction 35. The works will be undertaken over 3 separate phases, outlined below:
- Phase 1 – Eastbound Onslip
19/10/2026 - 20/10/2026 (20:00 – 06:00) - Phase 2 – Eastbound Mainline
19/10/2026 – 27/10/2026 (20:00 – 06:00) - Phase 3 – Eastbound Offslip
26/10/2026 – 27/10/2026 (20:00 – 06:00)
Diverted traffic to leave the M4 using the Eastbound offslip at M4 Junction 35. Diverted traffic to follow the A473 to join the A4119 at Talbot Green and rejoin the M4 using the Eastbound onslip at Junction 34.
