The Menai Bridge is currently under repair. The works are due to finish in Spring 2027.
Traffic restrictions are in place for the duration of the works.
- Only vehicles up to 7.5 tonne and under 3 metres in height are allowed to cross the bridge.
- Vehicles over these limits will need to use the Britannia Bridge.
A 20mph speed limit is in place on the suspension bridge along with speed management measures.

Upcoming Roadworks
Between 20:00 on 13/7/26 and 06:00 on 15/7/2026 there will be a full closure of the eastbound footway and carriageway. Pedestrians will be diverted through the eastbound lane closure between these hours.
All vehicles over the weight and height restrictions should use A55 Britannia Bridge.
