Work to carry out essential carriageway repairs on the A55 westbound from Old Colwyn to Llandudno Junction.
Work to carry out essential carriageway repairs of the A55 westbound carriageway between Jct 22, Old Colwyn - J19, Glan Conwy Interchange will commence on the 02/11/2026 for 5 consecutive nights.
Westbound - Full closure of A55 west bound carriageway between J22 Old Colwyn and J19 Glan Conwy – diversion via A547 Conwy Road through Colwyn Bay and Mochdre to J19 westbound on-slip.
A55 Westbound carriageway J22, J21, J20 on slips also fully closed during the closure.
Eastbound - A Lane 2 closure of the A55 main carriageway eastbound will also be implemented between J19 and J22
The works are being carried out overnight and winter period when traffic flows are historically lower to minimise disruption.
