Work to carry out essential carriageway resurfacing to a section of the A40 eastbound carriageway between Brynich Roundabout and the B4558 interchange east of Brecon will commence on the 10/03/2026 for 4 nights
The work will be carried out over the 4 nights 19:00 – 07:00 under a full eastbound carriageway closure (between Brynich Roundabout and the B4558 interchange). The signed alternative route will be via the A470 and A438 northeast to Bronllys, and then the A479 south to rejoin the A40.
The works are being carried out overnight when traffic flows are historically lower to minimise disruption.
