Essential Carriageway Resurfacing works 02/03/26 – 13/03/26 between 19:00 – 06:00hrs. However, works will be suspended on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
Work to carry out essential carriageway surfacing repairs to approx. 1.2km section of the A487 Erglodd, Tre Taliesin, Ceredigion will commence on the 02/03/26 to 13/03/26, excluding weekends.
There is insufficient road width available to safely undertake the works whilst maintaining at least a single traffic lane for vehicles, therefore a full overnight road closure is required.
The work will be carried out between 19:00 – 06:00 under a full carriageway closure, however, works will be suspended on Saturday and Sunday evenings. The works are being carried out overnight when traffic flows are lower to minimise disruption.
The alternative route for northbound traffic from the southern point of the closure will be via the southbound A487 to Bow Street, southbound A4159 to Commins Coch, eastbound A44 to Llangurig, north-eastbound A470 to Caersws, north-westbound A470 to Glantwymyn and south-westbound A489 to Machynlleth to re-join the A487. Vice versa for southbound traffic from the northern point of the closure.
