Work to carry out essential expansion joint replacement and surfacing works to the M4 Pentre Road Bridge between Junction 47 and Junction 48.
The work will be carried out over the 5 nights 20:00 – 06:00 under a full carriageway closure between J47 and J48 of the M4.
The works are being carried out overnight in June when traffic flows are historically lower to minimise disruption.
Westbound Diversion: Traffic will be diverted at J47 (Penllergare) via the A4240, then following the A484 and A4138. Traffic will rejoin the M4 via the J48 (Hendy) Westbound onslip.
Eastbound Diversion: Traffic will be diverted at J48 (Hendy) towards A4138, then following A484 and A4240. Traffic will rejoin the M4 via the J47 (Penllergare) Eastbound onslip.
