Work to carry out essential carriageway resurfacing to the M4 carriageway between J45 Ynysforgan to J44 Lonlas eastbound will commence on 05/06/2026 for 10 night.
The work will be carried out for 10 nights 20:00 – 06:00 under full carriageway closure of J45 to J44. The works will be eastbound
The works are being carried out overnight in June 2026 when traffic flows are historically lower to minimise disruption.
Traffic heading Eastbound on the M4 will leave the M4 at junction 45 and take the 4th exit joining the A4067. Traffic will then leave the carriageway sign posted Morriston and Llansamlet A48. At the roundabout take the first exit joining Clase road. Take the 2nd exit at the roundabout joining the A48, continue on the A48, until J44 roundabout and take the third exit re-joining the M4..
