Work to upgrade active travel facilities from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Llechwedd will commence on March 11.
Works to carry out active travel improvements on A470 Blaenau Ffestiniog to Zip World Llechwedd. The works will be carried out using daytime lane closures with temporary multi-way traffic lights in place at times.
No traffic management will be erected during restricted working periods (Bank Holidays or Summer Holidays etc). The works requiring traffic management are being carried out when traffic flows are historically lower to minimise disruption.

- 3-way traffic lights on the A470 roundabout with High Street / A496 Benar Road between 08:00 – 17:00.
17/04/24 – 01/05/24
- 3-way traffic lights on the A470 between 08:00 – 17:00.
08/05/24 – 10/05/24
- 2-way traffic lights on the A470 between 08:00 – 17:00.
13/05/24 – 22/05/24
- 2-way traffic lights on the A470 between 08:00 – 17:00.
04/06/24 – 19/06/24
- 2-way traffic lights on the A470 between 08:00 – 17:00.
20/06/24 – 01/07/24
- 2-way traffic lights on the A470 between 08:00 – 17:00.
05/09/24 – 10/09/24
- 2-way traffic lights on the A470 between 08:00 – 17:00.
23/09/24 – 14/10/24
- 2-way traffic lights on the A470 between 08:00 – 17:00.
No diversion is required for the duration of these works.
