A483 Llandrindod to Howey Active Travel shared use path - Construction of phase 2 of the new Active Travel shared use path alongside the A483 linking Llandrindod Wells to Howey. Phase 2 comprises the construction of the shared use path between Grosvenor Road Junction to Ridgebourne Drive Junction.
We will be constructing Phase 2 of the Active Travel shared use path alongside the A483 that aims to improve links for Active Travel along the A483 between Llandrindod Wells to Howey, commencing June 2024 and scheduled for completion in October 2024.
The work will be carried out without the need for any road closures, however temporary 2-way traffic lights will be in use 24 hours a day during the construction period. Every effort will be made to remove all temporary traffic management from the network during the week of the Royal Welsh show and the summer embargo period.
June to October 2024 – A483 open to all traffic under temporary traffic control (traffic lights)
