The work involves planning off the existing surface, adjusting manhole covers and gulley gratings, laying a new asphalt surface course, reinstatement of road studs, application of road markings.
Full closure of the A458 will be required Middletown to Shropshire:
- 28/01/2026 - 06/02/2026 (19:00 - 06:00). Monday to Friday only.
Traffic will be diverted along the signed diversion west along the A458 onto the A483 at Buttington roundabout, then north on the A483 to Mile End Roundabout. East on the A5 to Churncote roundabout. West on the A458 to the closure point and vice versa.
