Essential Resurfacing works
Day-time works (no road closures) Dates: 26/01/2026 – 27/02/2026 Times: 07:00 – 18:00
Temporary traffic management will be in place during the day, including 3-way lights, 2-way lights or stop/go boards depending on the location of the works.
The road will remain open at all times.
Night-time works (road closures) Dates: 09/02/2026 – 06/03/2026 Times: 19:00 – 06:00
(Monday to Friday only)
No closures on Saturday or Sunday nights
A signed diversion route using trunk roads will be in place:
Eastbound traffic: A483 south to Llandovery → A40 east to Brecon → A470 north to Builth Wells → A483 west to rejoin the road
Westbound traffic: the same route in reverse
Please allow extra travel time during the night-time closures.
