Work to carry out essential carriageway repairs of the A55 J23 to J24 Eastbound will commence on the 24/02/2026 for 3 nights.
Full overnight closure Eastbound between Junction 23 Llanddulas and Junction 24 Abergele for essential carriageway surface repairs. 3 nights 24/02/2026 – 26/02/2026 between 20:00 – 06:00 on the 22nd, full diversion will be in place via A547 Llanddulas and Abergele
The works will be carried out over 3 nights under full closure, signed diversion route will be implemented with A55 traffic diverted off at J23, along the A547 through Llanddulas and Abergele to rejoin the A55 at J24.
There will be a lane two closure on the main carriageway westbound to support the works with a 40mph speed restriction.
The works are being carried out overnight when traffic flows are historically lower to minimise disruption.
