Work to carry out essential structural repairs to Primrose Hill bridge following a bridge strike that resulted in significant deformation of several primary beams.
The aim of the heat straightening works is to restore full structural carrying capacity.
The works will be undertaken under a full eastbound closure between J24 Abergele and J25 Bodelwyddan.
There will be overnight closures seven nights a week between the 26th January and 2nd March 2025 between 20:00 – 06:00.
The works will be undertaken under a full eastbound carriageway closure (between J24 on slip Abergele and J25 Bodelwyddan).
Traffic will be diverted at J24 (Abergele) eastbound off slip, around the A547 roundabout and returning onto the eastbound A55 carriageway via J27 St. Asaph.
