Essential works to address hazardous trees adjacent to the M4 between J37 (Pyle Interchange) and J42 (Earlswood Interchange) will commence on 25/01/2026 for 3 months.
The work will be undertaken during the night between 20:00 and 06:00 utilising mostly hard shoulder and lane closures; however, some total slip road closures will be required to provide the necessary safety zones. Signed diversions will be put in place during total closures.

There will be lane closures only between J40 and J42. This could result in a higher than usual level of noise and/or traffic disruption during this time - we apologise in advance for any inconvenience incurred.
