Work to carry out essential joint replacement works at the M4 River Neath Eastern Approach structure. Works will commence on 16/03/26 for 8 nights.
To facilitate these works a full closure of the M4 eastbound carriageway from J42 to J41 is required.
The work will be carried out over 8 nights 20:00 – 06:00 under a full eastbound carriageway closure between M4 J42 off slip and M4 J41 on slip.
The works are being carried out overnight in March when traffic flows are historically lower to minimise disruption.
Traffic will be diverted at the M4 J42 eastbound off slip, onto the A48 eastbound, then back onto the M4 eastbound at J41.
